From here on, Loudoun Allergy Network will be referred to as "LAN", "us", or "we". The members of Loudoun Allergy Network will be referred to as "member", "members" or "you".

MEMBERS
Members are described as: Any person who is 1) 18 years or older, 2) living in Loudoun County, Virginia, and 3) either a parent or legal guardian of a child with one or multiple IgE-mediated food allergy. If you do not fall within this criteria, please inquire with the leaders of LAN by contacting us. LAN leaders may approve membership on an individual case basis.
MEMBER BENEFITS
LAN help members connect and manage the challenges of IgE-mediated food allergies. Some benefits of becoming a LAN member are:

Please note, while we try to provide a secure and private environment to hold meetings and on occasion, electronic discussions, it is worth noting that nothing is completely private or secure. As a LAN member, you understand this and are responsible for the content that you share, whether at a physical meetings, online or any other electronic means.
- Monthly meetings* lead with an agenda.
- Connecting with other parents.
- Guest speakers.
- Access the LAN Lending Library.

DUES
Membership is free. There are no dues collected for membership. We request that you complete annual applications to be sure we have the most current information available. However, if you would like to assist in making LAN run smooth, feel free to contact us. We are always happy to receive volunteers.
MEMBERSHIP TERMNIATION
There are two ways in which your membership may be terminated.
1. You may request to terminate your membership if moving out of Loudoun County or if your child no longer has IgE-mediated food allergies. Please provide your request in writing to [email protected] or contact LAN using the contact form. Because LAN is recognized by national organizations, we may be able to connect you an individual within another support group. However, feel free to search other support groups on FARE's website.
2. Your membership may be forced to terminate due to the following violations:

- Using LAN's name to falsely represent yourself and/or LAN.
- Failure to respect the privacy of other member information.
- Failure to adhere to LAN's terms.
Termination of membership can include:

You give LAN permission to contact you via the email address provided in the member registration form. Please be aware that LAN may use a variety of third-party contact platforms in order to be efficient. Private email messages, distributed from LAN to members, may not be shared, distributed, copied, disseminated physically or electronically, unless given specific written consent. Failure to adhere to these terms may result with your membership status being terminated.
