Sanofi, makers of a new epinephrine auto-injector, recently held a seminar to introduce their product to online food allergy bloggers. From the post blog articles, many were excited about the compact size. We knew the product would be comparable to about the size of a credit card but the length seems to smaller than expected. Could this be the answer for adults and teens who may want a more compact auto-injector that is easy to carry and conceal?
"My six-year-old child can use this device with NO instruction from ME! He could use this to save his brother’s life. A total stranger could use this to save HIS life!"
The Auvi-Q, according to the bloggers, should be in the market around March and may carry the same cost as current epinephrine auto-injectors.
