SeaWord Parks has worked with The Food Allergy and Anaphylactic Network (FAAN) to train more than 6,000 culinary employees in it's 10 US theme parks in order to accommodate visitors with food allergies, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Some highlights include "Chef Cards" that guests may fill out detailing specific allergens, which then can be given to a chef before a meal is prepared. In addition, the restaurant managers and supervisors will work one-on-one with guests and oversee preparation of meals for allergic individuals.[...]
