We are facing the last week of school before the holiday break. Most classrooms will participate in festive parties to celebrate the holidays. This is the time we all need to take a moment and step back. To pause and be sure that what we are doing is safe and inclusive.
A new line of emergency medicine carries has entered the market and these products are fabulous! Targeting teens and moms, Epi-Essentials was created by a mother who wanted a better option for her daughter to carry the essential emergency medications. As children with food and other anaphylactic allergies progress into the teen years, many are hesitant to carry their medication for fear of not being able to fit in. That's where Epi-Essentials fills the gap.
As of May 2011, Pizza Hut announced a new allergen list on their website. This includes their pizza sauce, sweet pizza sauce, chicken and more that are cross contaminated with tree nuts and other allergens. Please be aware of this new change.
